What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Black out those headlights and you'll be in business. I'm doing a set here shortly that matches the raptor color with the DRL leds. All amber. Might look cool.

This is good to know I've had grey's and browns in the past first time having a color, I also have BBP now. I've never been the type to wax my cars but hearing this I think I will have to start!

I have had metallic grey vehicles in the past, and they barely got washed because they never looked dirty. I decided to change it up and went with BBP this time, and it seems to get dirty more, but maybe its just me. Today it kind of looks like a Quicksand and BBP two tone

Difference is mine is a 2 wheel drive on-road truck. All pavement. And it never touched the snow.

 

Yesterday I added Hondo Garage premium knobs and the perfect squeeze (already had the unholey mount with a cheap ram mount that was way too noisy)

Picked up SOS Off-road Concepts Sliders with fill plates and kickout from power coating and installed them today.

Any specific paint to use for this? I'm about to pull my headlights out and paint them black. Just wanna get the correct type of paint.

 

Got my phone mount set up from Hondo today, but will have to wait a bit. Truck is in pre-op being preped for front driveshaft transplant operation! Hoping for a speedy recovery and having her back up on her 285's middle of next week. Prayers are welcome! Lol! P.S. I am fairly confident that the surgery will go well, not 100% sure about the diagnosis!

 

Hey Eric, I took youradvice and got the perfect squeeze also. Does that only adjust in one direction, and does it mount kitty corner to the ram ball?

None right now. If the weather cooperates, this weekend some Baja Designs fogs are going in. Still need warmer weather for the hybrid bumper and winch install, the bumper is still in bare metal and needs paint.

You won't regret it, I am really digging it since I got it dialed in perfectly. The Once you set it there isn't much need for adjusting after a few clicks of the dial and tightening the set screw. Yes, the ball mount is offset.

As far as direction, you have to rotate the entire ram ball in the arm. I'm leaveing mine in the vertical position.

 

Apparently you don't live in S.W. Ontario. They dump so much salt on the road my blazing blue looks like its been derped in a pasty gray orange peel.

 

My XM Radio sounds much higher in volume then my FM but
lower than Pandora , whatever I can live with it but the EQ going
back to 0 every 24hours is annoying AF..

Just finished washing and paste waxing it for the first time. Took forever! Would post pics but there's no decent lighting in these apartments. Will post one if I stop by the store or something.

Also debated on whether to get some 16 or 17 inch methods...hmm I can already feel this truck burning a hole in my pocket.
