This baby is mine. Not exactly unicorn status yet, but with just over 3800 built over only 3 years of production it's gonna get there. She's my daily driver and currently a 10 footer on the outside but she's gonna start getting some serious attention now that my taco is 75% where I want it. Unfortunately I only have the pictures I took right before I bought it... I've really neglected her

That would be the 273, likely a 4 barrel now.

... ^^^ ... That looks like a 1965 GTO front end .... and was that an OEM retrofit or an aftermarket retrofit?

    Just curious

There were SS454 Chevelle wagons made but never saw a GTO wagon.

The 4bbl engine was called the Commando, Formula S was an upgrade package with handling/brake/Tire features and tach, and included the Commando.

There was an SS wagon but only in '73 with 350 and 454 low compression available, but the 1970 got 454 345hp not LS5 or LS6 and no SS option. Same with the full size wagons. Some full sized Mopar wagons had the 440 350HP motors. My dad had a 67 Monaco wagon with 440 when I was 9, I remember him saying it needed Premium gas. He'd take us out in the country to "burn off some carbon".
