    I drove! Thanks.
Got more than planned. Been eyeballing a Case trapper lock for months. There was one left, wife said happy anniversary!
And there was 15% off cast iron so got flat round lodge griddle.
And we took different way home thru the back roads and saw some antique stores will return to at a later date. ever took that road before. I also drove to and from dr. He said watch the stress. I think the Cowboys game may have been the culprit?
    Idk.

    Evening all.
I see some are Mia tonight.
Got the rest of my parts to get the MTD back up and running.
Well actually maintenance items. While I have it apart might as well do it right.
Glad your going in the right direction Kevin.

I thought I'd seen a video of a tractor mounted John Deere snowblower.

We didn't have tractor mounted snowblowers when I was a young. Only loader buckets. And I had to walk 15 miles to school, uphill both ways.

For me, never having lived north of the Mason Dixon line I can't appreciate what that much snow means.

Did the first mod today. Really needed these for the little girl. The sliders are staying on the other truck for a while, plus they are slippery when they get damp. These came with a great story that I shared with the SC guys. It's pasted after the pic if you care to read it.

    20170119_141051.jpg

About the step bars: Sometimes I believe God brings people into your life. I rarely go on CL but I decided to look there for running boards. Only two sets came up close by. One side of one set was bent. The other set stated new but had no pic. I texted the number to ask about them. I didn't hear back but headed to town for other business. In town, I got a call from the seller. I could tell it was an elderly gentleman as he was telling be about how he bought these and they did not fit his truck. He said they are brand new in the packaging. He said his was a "special" off road truck that had a different body so there was nowhere to bolt them on. He lives in Piedmont so I told him I would ride out to check them out. He had them listed for $150 but I ask anyway . He paused and said he would take $125. So, I get there and this little on man, smaller than I am, was waiting on me standing by a very nice DCSB 1st gen. I thought immediately these are not going to work. Turns out he is 89 years old and recently bought the truck from someone in Townville of all places. Looking back, he had them listed as 2004-2014, but I had thought it was a mistake at the time. I got out and checked them out, and sure enough, he had ordered step bars for a DCSB 2nd gen. He wanted to sell them verses the trouble and cost of shipping them back. We talked for a while and I went back to my truck and counted him off $150 for the bars. The way he smiled about that would make you think I gave in $500. He went on that I was such a gentleman and nice man, and he even called me on my way home, thanked me and told me that again. He really needs some steps on his truck for his 89 year old wife. As I had told him I would, I came home and found him a set that would fit his special off road truck, spoke with him on the phone, and emailed him a link. He already has them ordered, and I am going to go back to his house to install them for him.
