Speaking of cheap/free mods, I had a busy weekend.

    - Fog lights always on
    - Bike mount in bed tray
    - Mag light mounted
    - Bottle opener in bed

    :D

    sold....
I was really getting tired of the orange glow of the dash in my taco. especially next to my bright blue alpine stereo so i spent like 20 bucks to change it up a little with some blue leds. i think it looks sweet, tell me what you think......

2 cheap easy mods are subwoofer light and truck pee mod
-for the sub light you get some speaker wire and any led light (i used an interior festoon led) then solder the speaker wire to the ends of the light and mount the light somewhere in the car and stick the two wires in the back of the sub box and now the light will come on as the bass hits!!

for the truck pee mod, go to a hose shop or anywhere that they sell car stuff. open your hood and follow the windshield sprayer nozzles' tubes and pop the passenger side one out. then with the new hose you bought (it was about 15 cents a foot) stick that in and then cut it so that it sticks out the side when you close your hood. then stick the nozzle in that you bought (was about 10 cents) so that it shoots far. and now you can pee on those dumb people that "piss" you off :)sdghjmyfuk004_2e4796fcbbcf3e45f2bb4464139761176b6b54a3.jpg

Another method of the pee mod is to turn on your wipers and at the same time spray some WD40 out you window using a tube. This will cover the windshield of the asshole who is tailgating you. When he turns his wipers on to clear it, it will smear so badly that he will have to pull over and you are long gone. Just make sure if it gets on your paint too, to wash it off soon.

I have a question related to your picture at the bottom of your posts, I guess that's a mod kinda, plus it's probably cheap. I was wondering what you made the emblem out of and how? I've been thinking of making a custom emblem for when I get my tacoma. Thanks for your help.

I want to do my lights like this for my nerf bars. Should I run this through a fuse or what?

always run your shit through a fuse. You can get fuse holders at any store that sells automotive stuff.

    Re: New MapLight Mod
Quick question for everyone who has done this mod. Has anyone had issues with blowing the fuse for the interior lights? I have led map and led dome lights so I am wondering if that is why the fuse is blowing. I did everything exactly as described but as soon as I try to turn on the light the fuse goes out....

Let me know if you have any suggestions as to what could be wrong or if this has happened to anyone else if they know why..

    Thanks
