Hahah that's pretty good. Testing my limits at the mall.
Nah it's got a piece of metal lodged in there, look in the bottom right side and you can see it. Luckily discount tire said they can cover it but I have to wait till the morning. It's surprisingly driveable still.

Just so you get an idea of what the bedsides do on my truck.

I do see how those bedsides can get in the way of a good viewing angle, but your mirrors are still angled in far too much. In a normal truck, you shouldn't even be seeing bedsides, let alone your own doors...

Its the camera angle....where my heads at it looks straight back off to the side....but the beds still block.

I'll have to take your word for it because those camera shots are almost comically bad examples of how not to set your mirrors. Sadly, I have been in a number of people's cars who actually do have them set like that.

My puny crew cab 2.7L can barely move the 225 width tires I have on now. If I had those, I might as well p ark the truck. WOW

I still need to do something like that. The factory tank was cracked and falling apart. I saved the pump though and plan on making a pvc tank and mounting it there. Waiting for shock hoops first though to know what kinda room I have left.

This is what I tell people when they talk about blind spots. Especially when they talk about how you never know what's in your blind spot.
Blind spots can be realistically eliminated if you have your mirrors set correctly and have been paying attention to what's been happening on the road. Unfortunately, most people actually don't believe me and either refute correct mirror angling or just give a nod to brush it off.

I'm having a hard time understanding how you got a driver's license.

The mirror size has nothing to do with what you are seeing out of the side view mirrors. The fender bulge is not your problem. As stated by many, the side of your truck is not important, what is to the left and right is more important.

For the record, I could give a shit if you want Dodge mirrors. Your explanation worries me much more.

I don't know about a '96, but mine is located very near the fuse box on the drive side of the engine compartment.

Come on... my 2.7 with 3.58gears can move my 265/75/16s just fine, albiet a bit slow up hills then you can move a pizza cutter mud terrain, they actually have less tread on the ground when on pavement, so who knows the rolling resistance may not be much more.
