I'm looking to pick up a 17 Tacoma next week and have heard of people having issues with the traction control going off when installing a lift/leveling kit and bigger tires anyone heard about these issues before?

I've had 33's and now 35's. I've never had any issues with traction control.

2016 off road with an auto.

I bought a truck thinking it would be easy. Big tires, big rims, lift and drive it like you stole it. Lol. Never even considered problems like these I keep reading about.

I have hundreds of miles of off road travel on mine. And hundreds of miles getting to those off road locations (mountain passes and what not).

The only issue I've ever had with traction control is in my driveway rolling back and then hitting the gas. But that happens in stock trucks.

Like what? All issues I've seen happen on stock trucks too. A lot of the issues here aren't even actual issues.

Well now that my VSS light is on, I have no traction control. Mine came on right after alignment and I haven't taken it to the dealer yet to see what's up.

When I was leveled 5100's and 885's, my traction control would kick in on certain tight turns on mountain roads. Came on with a grinding type noise.

From what I've read you have to reset the computer, I'm to beat from squat thrusts to go into detail right now, but search, the info is out there.

Check to make sure ABS harness, sensors, and/or rings weren't effected during the alignment or pinched during install.
