I'm headed to Boulder. Going to do Search & Rescue and enjoy some seasons. Maybe some wild land fire fighting or EMS work on an ambulance or in a hospital. Been born and raised in Santa Barbara so it'll be real nice to leave for a bit. Plus I can't complain about all the OHV trails available over there for the truck and motorcycles

    Just bought this off @inv3ctiv3
    IMG_0776.jpg

I'm trying to sell this one but I couldn't complain too much if I had both in Boulder

All of those have crazy working hours!! haha!! My little brother is a hot shot in Utah and that's no joke man!!

I wish you the best! I'm sure it'll be fun whatever way you go!

Good news is, I'll have someone else I know in CO that I can go "visit" :D

Here's a couple for ya. Keep in mind, I do have their first generation of this bumper and I had the new spindle and latch system welded on. Not as pretty as the new version but I'll just be dragging it around, so I'm not too hung up on the looks

Scott is one of my good friends. His fiancée was in the same grad program as another mutual friend and we got introduced through them. He is the bomb. Funny enough, I've never seen his work. Glad to hear it's good!

Was just at a wedding shower with him and he mentioned fixing a swing out on a white Tacoma with a sleeping platform. I asked if it was for Alexis. Small world!

I had taken my time with it, but the project wasn't too terrible. Luckily my housemate use to be a mechanic so he had all the tools I didn't. :D
The photo was taken before the axel was torqued back into the wheel hub assembly.

It was raining in town today. It was an easy decision to drive 20 min from my house to catch a little snow fall

I hit up two more trails today. Unfortunately I had to turn around on both of them because of snow. But thankfully I was able to do most of the trails beforehand.

Saxon Mountain trail: This one was fairly easy but fun. Zig-zagging your way up a mountain side. I was aired down to 15psi for this trail and it was perfect. Once I get my #700 springs on my coil overs, I'm for sure lowering the front suspension. I have no down travel and it sometimes jarring in the simplest of places.

    IMG_1701.jpg
    IMG_1703.jpg
    IMG_1704.jpg
This is where I had to call it quits. I kept sliding towards the edge and I was alone so there was no way I was going any further.
    IMG_1705.jpg

Red Elephant Hill Empire trail: This trial kicked my ass. I had so much fun and got great use out of my armor. So many tight squeezes and times where I had to jump out and stack rocks to prevent myself from sliding into trees. Lucky to have come out without any panel damage. :D
I had to air down further for this trail. It was WAY more technical and my tires have worn out faster than anticipated. So I aired down to 10psi and was praying that wouldn't slip a bead. I've had the KO2's on for 37,000mi and they are very low. Definitely switching brands for my next set.

This was for sure a puckering moment. Wet dirt, slick rocks and low tread tires. There were many of these situations on this trail. But I loved it

I'm going to try out another trail tomorrow but I'll be on my WR450f!

lol cant afford them. Buying his BMW. Thinking of doing a road trip out here sometime in summer and leaving the truck. It's so cheap to fly out here. Got a ticket from LAX to Denver for $40.
Kills me with how expensive these tires are

    Caribou 4x4 trail:
Spur of the moment had me do this trail near Nederland yesterday.

I hit a huge dip at speed and misplaced my bead on this tire. Tried for a while to get the mud and rocks out with sticks on the trail. Power washed it too, nothing. Looks like i'll have to take the tire off to get the rocks that are stuck. Still holds air and drives great though haha.

Purchased my 5th set of wheels for this truck too...
Only spend $40 so hopefully they'll work. Planning on going with 35's next. Glad I'm going back to 16in wheels after yesterday. Will feel much more confident running more tire.

Surprised I haven't introduced the daily driver yet. I've had it about 3 months now.
    1993 e36 318i 5-speed
I've been LOVING this thing. Already drove it from CO to MI and back. Got an average of 30 MPG. Sure as hell beats +/- 13 in the truck
