I've always liked the Land Cruiser inspired grilles and have been wanting to change my factory grille to one like this one with the Toyota lettering. Unfortunately, I can't find one I like; lots of them have very small mesh or huge contemporary looking lettering. Where can I find one like this with large honeycomb mesh and classic looking lettering? Toyota Grille.jpg

So I looked up HomerTaco's offers and his grilles start at $600, plus lettering, which is more than I'm willing to spend on a radiator grille. His deals do include a body-coloured bezel though, so I guess that's a fair price

That's true, and I'm now seriously considering it; even if I don't cut the mesh into a taco grille shape myself, depending on where I get the grille, I'll most likely end up having to trim the bezel and install the grille in there myself, so might as well go all the way.

They do make a nice grille with an oem Toyota emblem, thank you! I was looking for a bigger hex-shape mesh but I'm starting to take a liking in their productcustom car grilles.jpg

Haha, cool story; you really are a tacomaniac. Please post your pictures here when it's done; I can't wait to see it. I guess it'll be a little bit of work trimming the bezel. Have you figured out how you'll make the grille hold in there yet?

I'm also considering this grille, made by DB Customs. It is way more contemporary than what I was looking for, but I like the look of it. Their online store is a bit unclear, but I think I can get the same one that says TOYOTA instead of TACOMA.

    It's the FJ emblem.

Not sure what style you were looking at (I know his Raptor style goes for more), but the standard meshes with color matched surround (for an '05-'11) go for ~$315. It sounds like your going for another option either way, but wanted to clarify for other members.

That's what I paid for this one:

The product is top notch. The down side is the wait. I've heard his list described as "Robust". The combination of their popularity, and the fact that he does them all himself in his spare time, means you could be waiting close to a year for it. For anyone considering it, get yourself on the list now.

I used to have the fj emblem on, but I found a member on here named @Dozer who makes cnc Tacoma letters to use. He powdercoated them white for me and I love the look. I went the route of getting a metal mesh insert grill by metal craft on Amazon for 191 and did the conversion myself. If you have a dremel it takes about 20 min.
