There are days where I have to skip 10 pages...because I didn't check in for three hours.

Chad's thread is chock full of some bullshitting mofos.

Plus I get to see Chad's truck every so often, so I don't need pictures. I can just drive two minutes and dodge the hundreds of pages of BS :p

Anyone else have one of these panavise mounts? I'm liking it so far. Although, I didn't realize I'd have to screw it directly into the dash. Hard to get a drill into that spot...I might have gotten fed up and just used spray on 3M adhesive on it, and called it a day. :spy: The climate controls put a lot of pressure on the bracket so it fits snugly and doesn't move.

I use the Ram A-Pillar ball mount.

Super solid, in direct field of view/touch.

    100% reversible

Did you need a weird screw length to make that work? I've been debating doing that instead of the little magnet mount I have atm.

Oh, I'm not sure why, but I thought that you had to drill into the A-Pillar for that. I saw it on your build thread and thought it was cool. Guess it is too late to turn back now! :D

    Yessir.

    You will need:

M6 50mm bolt to replace the 'just long enough' Toyota bolt

    And

A washer and 2 nuts (not intended) to push the ball mount out of the crevice so it can actually be used.

    It's in my top 5 simple/satisfying mods.

Hey, as a matter of fact. I've got an extra bolt if you need it brother.

I have all of the ram mount stuff on an Amazon wish list but I didn't get around to actually researching the nuts/bolts. I think I'll take you up on that- any chance you have some leftover washers and nuts? :p

Damn, maybe I'll do this mod for a GPS down the road. I got sick of holding my phone for the GPS while responding to fire department calls. Not good running code 3 with a cell phone in your hand. :D

Next step is to find a spot for a bearcat 880sb though. I ordered an IggyCorp switch panel yesterday since I'm out of room for buttons. I'm definitely living by the "You fucked up when you joined the site" with my bank account right now.
