I've been thinking about trying to get an FID for a while. Not sure what my chances are in Somerville, but I would really like to be able to go to the range occasionally.

Honestly, I'd really like to CCW, or at least have that option, but I won't hold my breath.

Somerville is pretty douchy. Might be easier now that there is no class a/b/ restricted CCW permit, but it's still up to the licensing officers discretion and I believe Somerville is still reluctant/ just don't issue CCW permits.

Northeast Shooters has a pretty good list ranking towns/cities across the state in terms of how gun friendly their local official is.
