What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

The big factors are diameter as that essentially sets up the lever. And rolling weight with rolling resistance being a tertiary factor... but yeah the 2.7 deserves more credit that it gets, at 190hp the V6 is no power house either

 

It goes to back of intake plenum nearest drivers side.

 

Edit: yes that t should be there. Keep looking there should be another nipple down farther

 

Ohhhhhhhhhh. I see what your sayin now. On top of valve what you think is a broken off nipple there should be a little breather thay vents to atmosphere.

 

Now your gonna need longer mirrors so you can see due to those wide fenders

 

Yay for backup cameras!! But yea will take some getting used to, its like driving a 2nd gen size wise now. Have to keep the wheels covered to keep her street legal in CA. Still have armor all round to help protect the glass. Fenders can be pulled quickly if it comes to serious wheeling.

Now all I need now is a Habitat and I can pretty much camp anywhere.

Replaced the AC belt tension pulley.
Other than the requisite spark plugs, timing belts and water pumps, this is the FIRST engine component I've had to replace.
I'm the original owner with over 238,000 miles on the all original engine, alt, A/C & power steering pump!
I love my Tacoma!

Hey guys so without getting into details the hose on top of cylinder on front of the truck behind grill (AC) came off and now the nut that connects it to the line that runs along the front won't go back on . Is this a failure in the part or a failure in ressambly . I don't wanna spend 60$ if I don't have too

 

I finally got my Christmas present installed yesterday!

ARB Dual compressor with a 2 Gal. air tank.
The ARB is mounted on the drivers side fender with a custom bracket. Had to relocate some stuff from the fender and anchor it to the intake to get it to fit.
The air tank is mounted above the Hidden Hitch and there is still room for my spare tire.
Ordered and installed a custom switch from OTRATTW.
