Could please indicate what your choice, in terms of amps, etc., of the circuit breakers and components you have for installation?
    Thanks!

Snapped a quick shot of the HIDs I had put in a couple weeks ago. They are the Morimoto elite from theretrofitsource.com . I plan to get Baja designs fogs soon!

I have been studying this set up, I know you use the stock bottom airbox and replace the top airbox with the TRD one PTR03-35160aa which the best price I've found is $112.81. I know the stock bottom airbox gets a new flow accelerator #PTR03-35160ae $24.50, what I'm wondering if the rest of the TRD cai parts would fit on the stock airbox lid, ie; intake tub #PTR03-35160ab $55.53, airbox bellows kit #PTR03-35160ad $57.88, and the coupler kit #PTR03-35160ac $36.43 for a total cost of $287.15 if the stock upper airbox can be used the cost would be $174.34. Any thoughts?

Buy the flow accelerator, buy the drop in filter, buy a TRD sticker and stick it to your air box. Less than $100 and you've got this. This isn't an intake, it's looks. If you want to get an intake, look at AFE which is also part looks but actually uses a cone filter and a whole new air box.

They remind me of the cheap steel rims that people put on their snow tires on. Then in the spring the nice rims with the
three season tires are put on.

You'll love the baja design. They are plug and play when you buy the kit for replacing the oem fogs.

Hey Chris, that was kinda what I was thinking about doing change out everything except the airbox and getting an AFE dry air filter, I really don't like the AFE cai or the K&N cai. I'm not into the loud noise, just want better air flow.

I would have to agree. I did some more research and it seems the only difference the TRD intake has over stock, as far as performance, is the filter and flow accelerator. I'm most likely going to drop a K&N filter in the stock setup and call it good.

What I would do first is but just the filter and the flow accelerator and see what you think. I honestly don't see the TRD tube flowing any better than the OEM tube. I have the AFE Pro Dry CAI, it's loud. I'm not thrilled with it and I may remove it. I have a TRD drop in filter in the closet, I may put the OEM intake back in and just drop the TRD filter in place of the paper filter. I'll likely remove the stock plastic elbow inside the fender also and just run it like that. We'll see what happens though.

I'd go TRD drop in but that's just me.

Yeah for sure... I'm not really stuck on the K&N. I did however watched a you tube video of a drop-in K&N that increased the air flow significantly. I'm sure the TRD one would be similar.
