What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

K&N makes good stuff, they're "universal" though. Since there's a TRD option for this, i'd rather use that. For all I know the TRD filter is made by K&N lol who knows. Either way though you'll be better off than stock paper.

 

That's probablly what I'll do first, flow accelerator and afe dry air filter. Maybe a red TRD sticker!

 

You can always build from there if you feel you need to or just want to. If not, no wasted money on extra parts.

2 weeks ago I joined team 3rd gen really happy with the truck, it came with the tech package, Katzkin leather and tinted windows

Installed my Body Armor steps today

I did not like the plastic step inserts they sell for these and did not want to spend another $80 and since the holes were pre drilled I wanted to cover them up so I went with anti slip stair tape

All that money tossed around for a CAI wannabe. I am tickled pink with my K & N CAI that was a simple $200 delivered. All the added performance I expected. Only going to get so much from any CAI anyway.

 

I added the Bird Dawg mirror riser with ram finger grip cradle to hold my phone or what ever. My portable scanner is in there right now.

 

Ordered a set of dark grey clazzios that they had in stock, some of those sweet radio knobs and yellow fog light lamin-x!

 

Haha those were mine, I upgraded last minute to a different color combo

 

Lamin-x shipped my fog covers the next day! Still debating on whether I should take the bezels off or not to apply it. I did take a peek yesterday, they do appear easy to reach from under the hood, though the gap around them is big enough that I feel the film will slide under it easily.

 

I really like the seat covers. I'm not sure how close the grey I never honestly even thought about it. They are holding up very nicely. Its a bit of a weird fit around the nobs on the drivers seat but I dont even notice it anymore. I mean but in all honesty I on have 2100 miles on the truck so no real crazy wear and tear yet.

 

Take the bezels off, clean them very well, apply, install bezels. That's the ONLY right way to do it.
