Yes. We do do make it up as we go, but here are the basics:
We meet at a Shop Rite parking lot at 9:30 AM, caravan to the location, air down at the start, wheel for a few hours, we stop at lunch time, @Sub-Zero pulls out his fancy grill and we throw on anything that we have brought to grill. We shoot the shit for a little bit while we eat, then off we go and wheel some more. Once we get back to the start point, we air back up and head home. A nice, fun little day trip.

I thought if you take a hammer to the side, it will separate the ball joint. When I use a pickle fork, it always destroys the ball joint

    ATTENTION KMART SHOPPERS!!!!!

Who currently has a pair of 2nd gen UCA Pivot Bolts that I can borrow and replace with my bolts when they come in a couple weeks?

Maybe I can salvage my weekend and do this UCA install.

Perfect. Sounds like a lot of fun. I'll reach out for sure if I'm able to meet up and take part this day. Might be tough but I'm going to try.

Like the Panda said: channel locks, adjustable wrench, maybe vice grips.

I didn't bother to bend mine back either. You'll want that bolt out again.

Also, you can use a screwdriver and SFH to push the bolt out, that will help clearance the last bit.

Finally: disconnect the spindle first, then that that top bolt out.

lol, beach driving takes so much heat....

    I think I realized why...

everyone talks about driving out on the beach on a summer weekend day.. major fail...

the beauty of driving on these beaches is the other 300 days of the year when it is empty and nearly one of the only legal places you can find solitude while in 4wd
