This is the key I used. Make sure the key you order has a letter or symbol engraved in it that matches your working key.
2010 Toyota "G" Chip Master Transponder Key (Factory Original - NEW) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0089KNIZ2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_JDUGyb7GTR0G8

To pair the key, you need an ODB II cable and the techstream software installed on a windows computer that you can get to your truck. This cable comes with the software.

KKmoon OBDII B a OBD1 Replace ECU Jumper Conversión Adaptador de cableado para Honda Acura https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00W97K7O6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_GHUGybFZ2EKEY

Once you get the software setup and connected, go to the immobilizer utility and add a new key. I'll have to take better notes next time I fire the computer up.

I saw a YouTube video that appeared to pair a new key without the software, but I didn't try that method. It involved opening and closing the door six times and then inserting and removing the key six times. It might work, because that is similar to the method I used to program the key fob.

    I think it's something like 10ga steel.

I might have had something like that, but it also had a grim reaper airbrushed on the back...

I was just thinking of how I can do the same but with a pro grille. No drilling would be ideal but that's going to be hard.

I like the two tone orange and red like the one you posted but on the order page it only seems to offer red, white or blue. Did you find one like the picture?

Yea, I think that may be what happened. All the connections are there, disconnected the battery and the light is still on. I'm about to take it to get the alignment, I'll have him run the scanner on it for me. Thanks!

Took out the secondary air filter on my 2TR this morning. Takes 10 minutes and I'm impressed. Throttle response is noticeable faster, it's harder to stall the engine (manual trans) so reversing is much easier and takeoffs feel faster and smoother. 10/10.

This happens with some trucks when you lift them. Something gets thrown off, so the VSC needs to be recalibrated by the dealer. check out this thread

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I hate'd mine! I replaced it with the rubber inserts and love them. The old style didn't hold a 20oz soda bottle very well, it flopped all around and a can would rattle. Newer rubber inserts FTW
