Last few days been toying with idea to sell my truck and upgrade.
2008 SR5 TRD SPORT DCLB. 130k miles (208000km) Indigo Blue
    265/75/16 Duratracs
OME Lift with 886 springs and Dakars. (3 year warranty with 4 wheel parts, until oct 2019)
    OME Carrier Drop
    Icon Sway Bar Relocation
Upgraded Pioneer SPH-DA120 (apple carplay), garmin nav unit also
Front Runner Cab and Canopy Racks (has side mount accessory brackets and bottle opener)
Century Cap, Colour Matched with dual sided lockable storage containers

Just trying to get an idea of the market to see if my thoughts of a potential sale price are warranted.

I was thinking in the neighborhood of 15-16k USD (20k CDN)

what you guys think, out to lunch? realistic? great?

Ok, if another Tacoma I'd think twice about it. You have a nice truck with low mileage. I assumed paid off. If it's a 4Runner that's another story.

BTW the mods don't add value. If you really do sell it, you might be better off getting it back to stock form and selling the parts separately

Upgrading to a 3rd gen might actually be a downgrade.

If it's paid off I'd drive it till it dies. I hate payments tho.
However it's your money so if you are dead set on it, I vote 4Runner

Small minority buys for aftermarket parts.
Most people will not pay extra for your personal customizations.:notsure:

I don't think you are far off at 15k, When I was upgrading to the double cab, I would have considered it at that price.

I got 13,500 on trade on my base 4x4 09 with 58k miles. it had a dent in the passenger rear quarter.

If it's paid off, drive it til it dies....if you want a 3rd gen, I'd wait another 2 years until they work out all the bugs and then a 3rd gen should be an upgrade

If you like the truck keep it. I traded I my 06 with 100k in 2014 for an Impreza. I got 16,3 on trade in.
I missed my truck so much only made it 6 months with the Impreza. I gave it to my girlfriend and bought the same truck but it's a 15. Old and new. Now I'm spending a lot of money to get the new to wear the old one was.

I bought a 07 DCLB SR5 with 180,000km in October for $16,500. Its in really nice shape and has bilstien5100 in the front. That was in Manitoba and I shopped around and talked them down from the $19,500 asking price. Not sure if this helps or not, but I thought I got a decent deal at that price. I would have paid more for some of the extras you have on yours.

put it up for sale and if someone is willing to give you what you would like for it then sell it, otherwise if no one offers what you believe is a fair price then keep it. I personally would keep it, but I don't care for the third gen Tacoma's.
