I have an 06 taco with a 6 inch pro comp lift and was wondering is pro comp the only company that makes a front skid plate that fits. I need some skid plates but am not sure which ones will fit.

    No There are many.
Bud Built and all pro are the only ones I can think of right now.
I think a member on here is trying to make one himself. Metalmiller.

What does lift have to do with the skid plate? How does a lift get in they way of a skid plate? I can understand if the skid plate goes past the front axel, but how many skids actually do that?

b/c u have to hack and replace the crossmember for a 6" lift and thats normally where the regular skids come across/bolt up to
