    Dude
You should have least found a 4Runner with a lift and manly tires.
I've seen them at Toyota Dealerships and on the roads every where. :anonymous:

Wow man. I'm really sorry to hear that.
I'm wondering when you test drove it if you felt anything wierd in the driveline? Maybe just brushed it of because of the feel goods for the truck?

That's the only good thing about it messing up the same day you bought it.

That being said, you know the dealership knew about the problem and tried to hide it ..

Well, I'm still house shopping and how much I end up spending is gonna dictate when I can get tires

Plus the jeep is still...well...I don't know...I dropped it off with my buddy who's a mechanic and he hasn't even fiddled with it so I don't know how much that may cost me

They were higher on their used trucks and immediately started the high pressure you should just buy a new one for a little more. I said see ya!

I'm so glad I haven't had these dealer experiences...

Most of them just ignore me and don't even speak to me as I'm rolling around underneath a truck or climbing in and out of it

Hell the Jeep dealer let me walk out of their door with $8000 in my pocket before they wanted to seriously talk numbers

I either look poor or too smart for their tactics...probably poor

Wow things must have changed. I can see their point about buying new vs. used on these trucks because of resale value but I was never pressured.

Funny thing is I went there from Anderson and the bottom line went down $2k.

Hell, in 2005, I was damn dead set on a 2005 TRD OR 4x4 Access Cab in Speedway Blue...I was making $75K/year or so...Not a single local dealer would even talk numbers with me, and only 1 let me test drive one

Fast forward to 2016, I was damn dead set on a 2016 TRD OR 4x4 DCSB in Inferno....I make enough to buy one if I feel like it...1 dealer talked soft numbers but wouldn't budge on MSRP and none of the others around would even walk out of the showroom to talk to me

Fuck em, I'll keep buying used at competitors lots no problem

I'm trying to GIVE them money, and would've been the easiest sale they made all month if they'd just pay me attention

When I asked the salesman here in Greenwood if the button left of the steering wheel was for the E locker, he said yes. Of course my non-TRD has no locker, but I was Tacoma dumb then, so bad on me for not researching more. I won't buy another truck from them, though.
