I'm still new to this forum. So I'm constantly lurking and searching to make some check/to-do lists.
Did the grey wire mod today. Finished up breather mods too (rear diff, front diff, ADD). Flipped the spare while I was under there. Also able to lock down both front door scuff plates with some nylon nuts shoved in the floor pan holes.

I love this site. Big thanks to all DIY posts.

Can you explain more? Is there a certain size nylon nut to use, or would just anything that the screw will bite into work? I think I need to do this. I just noticed that my door scuff plate screws were loose and didn't want to snug up.

Why would you go from pro's to maxx?

    I want stt pros I believe....or duratracs....

Also, what do you guys think of mounting a rotopax under a tool box? Between my bed and toolbox is 4" but the drop in liner is in so I'm thinking two 3 gallon rotopax will fix with them being 4.5" wide.
You think the drop in liner is 1/2 of an inch wide? If not a 4 gal will definitely fit, I would like to get two more gallons but if ya can't ya cant.

Not sure if I quoted that right or if I'm doing any of this right...Bare with me I'm brand new to the forum but have been a long time lurker...In response to the scuff plate broke/loosening, after buying the rear passenger side at the stealership I knew that all the scuff plates were probably loose, broke, or about to break and I'd have to figure something up as a fix. I went to Lowes and where they sell the individual screws, nuts, bolts, etc; in the automotive drawers there are plastic "fasteners" (see pics). I bought those (2 pack) for like $2. Tried them out and they wouldn't fit in the hole so I took an air grinder and filed the middle so I could push it in. I also had to file off the back of the scuff plate so if will fit flush. I had to put in three fasteners (front, mid, and last hole) to fasten it down good because all of the "spreading clips" on the scuff plate were broke. Not stupid if it works.

The black part is just the blank used for the passenger air bag switch if you don't have one it'll be there.

Silver part is a standard cb mic hook. Quick Google will merit your results

I painted the rear leafs and axel. First Sanded everything down with 40 grit, to get all the old paint and rust off. Gave it a quick spray with WD-40. Then power washed the poop out of it. let it dry over night and 2 in1 paint primer with rustoleum. idk if it like it, but looks way better than rusted crap

Ah it wasn't too hard, I'll take pictures of what I did in the morning.
One guy already did a write up somewhere on here, one thing I can tell you, is that a wire has to be added for the switchback to work.
Which wasn't hard for me since I already have the headlights with DRLs, just spliced it in with their power.
And if you get these headlights, double seal the crap out of them.
They'll fill up with water otherwise. Not condensation, literally, filled up with water.

Oh lol. I'm sure you can order a new one from the dealer or find one from one if the part out trucks.
