@bradkaren ^^^ something very similar to this solution. This is definitely more accurate and proper. I found some nylon nuts that look very similar to license plate nuts (just smaller and a step down in inner diameter). Same concept just different approach. Got tired of trying to rip out the plates on exit.
Oh, and welcome to the forum, SouthCackTaco!

Nice, I already have done the fog lights mod, so I think doing the switchbacks shouldn't be much more work

    A whole lot
I've had them for about 2 months now, I like them, better than the fogged up stock ones that were in it.
Only downside I had was that one of them literally filled up with water due to them being poorly sealed.
Took a picture of it, sent it to the seller, and they promptly sent me a double sealed replacement free of charge.
I still went over it with DAP auto/marine sealant, just to be safe.
They tend to leak around the top edges where the corner lights are.
Other than that, I'm happy with them, and they look cool AF.
You can't kill those LEDs in the bottom, they got submersed in water twice, and still worked before I put in the replacement.
I use PIAA bulbs, just make sure you aim your headlights properly, they come aiming pretty low stock.

Did this today....actually yesterday... Cleaned carpets and seats, installed my junk yard find center console, plugged in a cheapo Drok Volt/Temp readout, and threw in some very cheap Motor Trend rubber floor mats.IMAG0835.jpg IMAG0834.jpg IMAG0834.jpg IMAG0836.jpg

There had to have been some metal cut out for that to fit. Right?
