Hm. If you thinks it's deeper than just the surface a doctor might be the best thing to do. Those things can turn nasty and into msra quick.

 

I've had offroad lights on my mind lately. But I can't help but thinking a lot of them look gaudy. Especially the lightbars on top. The only way those look good is if they're directly in front of a cab rack.

What are the most practical extra lights in your opinion?

 

yeah, most of it feels like its under the surface, hence why i havent just had my buddy take a knife to it and be done.

IMO, anything on the roof is pointless, throw a set of ditch lights on some hood brackets, and stick a 20-30" combo bar on the front and your good. maybe a single set of reward facing cubes for reverse lights. roof lights should be facing the sides as area lighting IMO

 

Yea ditch lights seem to be the most aesthetically pleasing of the non hidden types. Definitely ones I've thought about. And upgrading my fogs. I have some little rock light pods I need to install. Will probably be adding 1 or 2 facing in the rear as its hard to see through the tint at night. And the other two facing down when I'm worried about clearance.

Tough until I get some more armour I don't think I'll be attempting any serious night offroading! Lol

put a 30" in there. Trust me when I say a 20" just isn't quite enough light. Maybe a brand new rigid combo, but if you're going with a knock off, go for a 30". Plus with a 30" there are multiple companies that make mounts for them, whereas with a 20" you're gonna be having to jury rig something to make it fit. However I do believe a 30" gets put in to the bumper slot so you have to cut the plastic out
