Nope the 285/70/17 is a full inch taller than your current tire. Tread width is the same though

You'd need 265/70/17 to have the same height tire

Edit: derp you said ratio... In that case it's a difference of .75mm thicker sidewall with the 285/70/17 it seems

Edit #2 : the table you posted seems to have the tread width wrong, I think what that table has as tread width should be section width... Cuz a 265 tire is always 265 mm of tread.

I'm confused by that chart, 305/70/16 is narrower than 285/75/16? Or chart is just inaccurate?

I've been trying to figure out the narrowest 33"ish tire on a 16" rim that I could run. If anybody knows of anything narrower than 285/75/16 I'm open to ideas.

 

First number is side wall height. Second is ratio to make width. Kinda odd way of doing it.

 

255/85r16 is a 33.4x10

No first number is section width from sidewall to sidewall second number is the ratio of sidewall height to section width.

Ummm yup! Harder to fly than a phantom though. I'd still rather have a phantom 4 pro. We even have the one with dual control and a zm5 cam. It makes Awesome aerials!

 

I want to fly one. I wish tippet would get one that's dual control. Make my life a lot easier.
