Good morning and hope everyone had a safe night with the weather. And in the next few days, mix of snow and ice sucks! Can finally see most of my driveway will finish up today. When I can finally move again. Should be ready for the snowblower and the snow that is coming.

I like the one you found! Can stream fish with the fly rod here now with catch and release. The limestone streams stay mainly open all year even in the winter. Ice, snow and water with slippery steep banks. Hmmm no thanks.

Hey my dog needs a job!

I was archery hunting years ago from a tree stand near a golf course. It was early winter and snowing and could see golfers out on the course. I thought what a bunch of crazy people out golfing in this weather. Then realized I was sitting in a tree freezing waiting for a buck to walk by...

Same here, even with the ice shack still not the same to me. Someone once told me the reason a lot do it was to get away from their wives. Sounds like they should be spending more time with their wife to me. So they can get out fishing more in the summer!

    Good Morning.

Been snowing most of the night, starting to let up. I'll get to clear the drive again. Ready for PHX and a break...6 days, 7 hrs, and 29 mins.

I'm ready to go home.

I think it's more of a picnic sometimes.
But boy they have a feast.
Many many Years ago we did full contact ice fishing...
That was fun back then. Now wouldn't be so much.

Good morning kids, happy Sunday. So foggy outside, like soup. Got to 61* yesterday, and sun. Broke records for high temps in January. The sun was real nice, we don't see it much in winter, probably won't see it for weeks. Got some new shoes yesterday, been having foot pain issues, hopefully these will help with a long work day on concrete. I hope everyone is doing well, enjoy your day.

Contact ice fishing ... sounds sporty.

You ever try a mask when the cedar spikes like that?

I'm hoping to to retire while still in my 50's if all works out. Seen too many folks over the years that just keep on working right up until they leave this world.

    No just breathe thru mouth.
    Nose is running out here.
Plan on staying inside mostly today. Back is still a little tight. Was in a weird position hanging a cabinet.

I've seen the same, but I've also watched people start to die the minute they stop working. It's not about the time we are given, but what we do with that time.

    Yea
Flag up, all hell breaks loose. Tackling, tripping, kinda like a royal rumble. And that's just to get to the snowmobile if the hole is far away. Have hung on to the back of a snowmobile handle while getting sprayed with snow and ice. Yeup that didn't work out so well.
