I think honestly the blue mixed with the white gives the OEM colour if someone could figure that out lol. I went with Blue because it's close enough for my taste.

meh, if the lighting is too much I might consider wiring a resistor in serious with the light portion, dim it a bit. shouldn't be too hard and should work depending what type of LED is used for the light. will either completely turn it off or just dim.

i was looking at yours and said I like that. But then I said I don't remember seeing a empty spot like that on mine. Went and looked and I don't cause of the clutch override.

Could you put some window film in that to make it less bright?

    Yup
That's it... I tried too, looked everywhere. Spent hundreds of dollars in time trying to save $20 on it. Gave up and ordered, took over a month to get here.

I ground down the original slot with a dremel till it wedged in snugly. Not ideal, but I'm happy with it.

Was that factory done or did you do it yourself?

It's a port installed option. The dealer threw it in for free.

How are you guys popping out the blank in the area to the left of the steering while and guiding the wire through the firewall? Does the whole switch bank detach? If so, what's the easiest way to get it out?

Just pull on the little cubby straight out , I had to use plyers with some tape to not scratch and just give a couple of jerking pulls and it comes straight out with the switches

I also went with the blue. Here is a pic with my bed speakers on (top part of button is lit up) and one with the speakers off.

Which fuse did you use to connect your add a fuse to? I have a third gen and curious as I must have used the wrong one. Mine only illuminates when the switch is on.

Does anyone know which is the right size for the 2017 Tacoma? I'm looking at a blue Mictuning switch for the blank switch spot next to the rear slider.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0117B189M/

    Sizes are 1.54" x 0.83" or 1.28" x 0.87". I think it's 1.54" x 0.83" but wanted to confirm.

I'm hoping to use this with a Mictuning 32" LED bar (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CLHGGVC/) with included harness or a Eyourlife 32" LED bar (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D8RYHHE/) with an Opt7 harness (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K1NS0PS/). I'm like'y going to mount the LED bar I go with using the Caliraised brackets (https://caliraisedled.com/collectio...ota-tacoma-32-light-bar-lower-bumper-brackets). I'd prefer to not drill into the crash bars.

    Thanks!

I went with blue, as that was my wife's choice (she does get a say what I put into the truck). I just installed an ARB compressor and went with their switch to make things look factory. Also picked up a fog light switch to match. (My factory fog light switch is for sale if anyone is interested)

The lights are BRIGHT. I could not tell when the factory fog lights switch was on (I have it wired to turn the light on the switch on when the accessories are on) but the CH switches leave no doubt when they are on.

    I loke them.

To light up my switch I just tapped into the cargo light switch, Green = Dash Illumination
    Tan = Ground

Anyone have photos of the white back-lit switches? I'm thinking of replacing my blue ones with white ones. Then I could add some cinematic lighting gel material under the switch to fine tune the color.
