The party just started Ricky. Turd gen failed during test drive, people are arguing over paying cash for a car, and turd gen owners are mad because we show up in "their" threads.

Interesting. I'm a first time Tacoma owner and I am not experiencing all these supposed issues that plagues these trucks. I know of 4 other 3rd gen owners I work with and my daughter's BF also owns one. None of us have these issues other than one truck that had some very mild shifting issues. Couple that with people saying they have issues probably wouldn't even know or care if it wasn't for this new-fangled thing called the internet. I agree there are a few things like the tranny fluid issue that is a little concerning but is this truck a huge fail like some people over exaggerate it to be? No, probably not. I read about just as many people complaining of other makes and models of vehicles all the time. It's been that way from the beginning of when I started enjoying automobiles and trucks over 40 yrs ago. Nothing new other than the internet phenom that spreads the word much easier.

I'll just stick with my 06. My dealer tried to get me to trade to an 09 FJ, but I just didn't want 3 more years of payments, even if they were just $50 more a month then I'm paying now. It's a tight truck, no real issues, set up the way I like it, so why bother changing?

No issues on mine so far but time will tell.

Plus the 2nd Gen had just as many issues when it first hit production. Also many 3rd gen complaints also existed on the 2nd Gen and Toyota hasn't fixed them which is annoying.

Buyer should always beware when buying the 1st or 2nd year of a new Gen of any make/model.

I digress, @JoeCOVA is the engineer, the conductor would be a misrepresentation of the train engineers.

However, the conductor, like @JoeCOVA would like to think he's running the train, when in fact, he's just checking tickets.

Had mine since May. Every single owner I've spoken to in real life LOVES the truck, as do I. Many of them comment on how crazy this forum is. Just my .02.

Neither do you, since its obvious I did, I made no reference to used or new. More assumptions on your part, or just ignorance.
