I have paid cash for my last two trucks. My 09 Ram I just got traded for a 16 Nissan Frontier. Paid cash for the Pro 4x. Pretty simple, I pay myself a car payment instead of the bank. So in 8 years I have more than enough to pay cash for a new vehicle. Try it, you will like not having car payments.

Yeah but you also live in rim country so you're basically like an off-the-grid prepper and totally unorthodox :D

I called a Lyft one weekend and the driver had a 2017 DCLB Off road, it was so much quieter on the inside and rode so much smoother than my 06. I saw how the transmission shifted a lot on slight hills but it was no where near as bad as what is commonly described on TW. Seemed like a pretty sweet truck it definitely changed my perception of the 3rd gen.

    Internet argument 101:

--Debunk opposition with anecdotal personal experience. Disregard evidence that doesn't support your argument--or just dismiss evidence all-together.
--If all else fails, start name calling and posting pictures that imply your opposition is a bitch

I believe "vaginal silicosis" is the medical term you were searching for.

I'm loving how this thread is self-merging with the "What is your monthly payment? Please read" thread to achieve epic 3rd gen sh!tstorm status...
