Thought you guys would like to see these pictures. I've been out during every storm this year, getting people unstuck and shoveling them out afterward. The Tacoma is GREAT in the snow, better than I hoped for. The stock Bridgestones have terrific grip, even in the deep stuff. I only got stuck once, pulling out the 3500 below, and was able to get unstuck after taking a couple shovelfuls of ice out from behind my tires.

Over the course of this latest storm I pulled out a stuck 2WD Explorer, an 80s GMC 1500 2WD, an early 2000s GMC 3500 4x4 plow truck, a pair of Crown Vics, a loaded Ford Econoline, 2 Jettas (one still in park) and an early 90s 2WD Tacoma driven off the road into a snow bank.

The only mod I've done is the yellow wire mod for 4Low Trac. Never needed 4Low except for pulling people out though. I actually spent a good amount of time in 2WD, and found that the Auto-LSD did a respectable job getting the truck moving, most of the time.

Here's another one from the first storm back in December. It's pretty fun to drive around when it's just you and the plows...and the idiots who think they can get around with 2WD.

We've had record highs...last week was up to 14 degress celcius. Last year we got a record snow dump - something like 1 meter over a few weeks in the city. Normally it comes and goes as fast. Thankfully I was in Brasil for the whole time!
