The Blind Spot Monitor is a system that detects vehicles in the "blind spot". It uses a 24ghz radar signal. The sensor is about 4" square by 1" thick and under the corners of the factory plastic bumper caps. The sensor can not be blocked by any metal or have metal in the field of view in order have correct operation or calibration. The BSM is a completely separate system from parking assist sonar sensors.

Throw it in the trash.

 

Who needs sensors when you have steel bumpers, just play bumper cars.

Well, it was a nightmare. Only 6 rigs got to park next to each other, so we had to drive up the street for the group shot. Despite the horror, we had a pretty good day. We've come up with a tentative plan to do a Beef Basin expo in late March, an in-state Kingston to Pole Hill expo over July 4th, and the COBDR Labor Day. More to come on Memorial Day and additional spring runs.

you guys missed out. it was epic. Lots of straps used today, and my winch got a workout pulling...everybody, but me.

I noticed today, that if you are right behind me, you won't make it into many of my vids or pics, because I'm slow to move and that person has already gone thru.

If your 2nd or 3rd behind me, you're in almost every shot.
4th and beyond, makes a rare appearance because I have to get out of the way and make room.

Also, I can literally be standing ankle deep, in icy water, stacking rocks for a 2nd gen, and nobody gets the pic.
