I had to back out of the MOBTOWN for now because I'm a POS with bad priorities.
    :crapstorm:

Are you doing this as we speak? Is time pertinent for this?

@bski22 okay so I have 7 and a barely visibly thread on my passenger side.. with a solid 8 threads on my drivers side.

My center hub to fender is..
    DF: 24"
    PF: 23 3/4"
    DR: 24"
    PR: 24"

This is with 650lb springs. No added weight to the front of the truck. And DK LCA's which move the lower shock mount brackets inside a bit.

Notice the angles on the upper uniballs. And the outer cv boot. If you can see it. I am still wanting to lower the whole truck about another .5" to lessen then angles and fill in my wheel well a bit more. Not quite perfect yet.

I was just wondering because I'm cranking up the front and I don't want over shoot the recommended height for these. Shooting for total of 24.75 front driver and passenger on Wednesday

Yeah I'll take a level to my garage floor and make sure everything is flat. Remeasure. I was out at the car wash last time.

I feel like my ride should be softer. But maybe it's the 650 springs and no weight making it rough. Idk.. I could always change the charge in the shocks too.

I'm on graveyard now. So my trucks not here. Otherwise I'd check it.

Once you add skids it will be softer and if you got front plate bumper you'll be talking about 700# coils.(Maybe)

Well I got steel sliders coming.. if I got steel skids and an aluminum bumper with a synthetic winch I'm hoping the 650s will survive. If I HAVE to I'll run dual batteries behind the back seat to balance weight better. Thoughts?

My thoughts exactly and it's the path I'm
Trending towards. You knew I went from Aluminuim to aluminum and I have relentless sliders. Plus we are getting the reinforced mobtown skids which shed a few lbs. and I'm looking forward to putting them on to get the Kings a bit softer. The only reason I would go to 700's is to drop the sway bar for everyday use. I'm feeling stiff now too with just the Bumper and aluminum skid.

Yeah. Just have alot of things going on this year. Maybe things will be better after a tax refund though. Lol

Would be nice to get some of the north east Bros together for a trip. But I'm heading out of town until the end of march in 2 weeks.

Then I have two weeks to pack up and move x country when I get back. So who knows. My life is currently a crapshoot.

You could still probably do 650 coils. I have a steel front bumper, a steel front skid, and steel sliders. I'm running 650s without any complaints and I haven't had a sway bar in quite some time. Maybe once I finish off my skids and a winch (synthetic) I'll think about uping to 700s when I need my coilovers rebuilt.

CV angle might be a bit on the extreme side. That UCA looks to be ok. How much down travel do you have before the front tire gets off the ground? Basically when you jack the one wheel off the ground check how much droop you'll have and spin the wheel to confirm you have no CV binding.
Might be worth to back the kings off a hair to save CV angle and get some more down travel.

My last truck my CVs were close to that. Got approx 85k miles out of them before a boot ripped from a combination of age and rubbing from the angle. Its not the end of the world just as long as nothing is binding

Really? I thought the CV's were okay. The first two fins of the boot just started to touch. I was going to go up another 5 turns to maximize the height plus I'm assuming I'd lose 1/4" due to steel skids going on in the next month :notsure:

The tie rod kind of blocks it a bit. But if the tops aren't touching you might be ok. Biggest thing is you loose down travel the higher you go.
But skids will pull it down some, plus the springs will settle out a bit
