    Wouldn't use high lift on bumper unless i absolutely had to. Use sliders instead.

    @Crom What paint did you use to spray your bumpers? Im hoping to get my bumpers and sliders ordered next week and I'm planning on just spray bombing them myself. Some self etching primer, regular primer, then some black.

    What did you do to prep it? Scuff it with some scotch bride pads and wipe it down with alcohol or something?

    When I did my sliders I had let them sit for a while so they started getting just a touch of rust on them. I hit as much as I could with a wire wheel in my cordless drill, did a once over with scotch brite on everything then used simple green to wipe everything down and get any remaining dust off. Put down 1 light coat of primer then 1 coat kind of heavy. Then I used Rustoleum bed coating in light coats, probably 3-4 coats until everything was good and covered. That was about a year ago and it is still holding strong, maybe just a touch of shine showing through right where I get out and step every day.

    The one thing I would do different is add a final top coat of flat or satin black because I've found with my skid plates that the dust sticks to the bed liner pretty good but last time I had them off I just used regular rattle can paint to put a coat on and they are way easier to clean off now.

    What did it cost you for your bumpers? I plan on getting front and rear with sliders :( Its already going to cost a lot lol

    Ive been wondering about that bed liner spray as well

    $290 for bumper, gate, and gate accessories.

    I would rattle can sliders, PC on bumpers.

    Two months after ownership I've already had to paint the bumper due to rock blasting when I did 200 miles off road. Powder coat definitely holds up better and it's a good base coat I think.

    does anyone know if an RCI front skid will bolt up fine with these brute force bumpers? I looked ant mine and it looks like it should be fine, just wondering if anyone has any experience

    I may be wrong but pretty sure they all mount in the same location. I'm running a BAMF and had no problems

    That's what I figured. I was just making sure, the braces on the bumper that go under the crossmember don't overlap the skid. It looks like the skid fits in between anyone. Just seeing if anyone had experience

    Only problem is I have bumpers right now. Ill need a hand removing these plate bumpers, an angle grinder to cut my bed, and just a few hands to install the new ones, plus they need to get coated as well. Too many moving parts. If I were back home itd be no problem since my shop has all my tools and friends, but military and apartments isn't exactly truck modding friendly lol

    Side note, I just sent Billy an email on exactly how to order my bumpers and sliders. I cant freaking wait!

    Why do people opt for the dual swing out over the single? I ordered a single with every option you can get (I believe), I am just curious why the need or popularity for 2.

    It requires less space to open and close in parking lots and other parking scenarios. Especially for people that are constantly in and out of the back, or even use their trucks for work.

    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    Table wouldn't really be worth it on a dual swingout. The table would go down in the same area that your tailgate would be if that is down. On a single swingout it's at the end so you can have your tailgate down along with the table.

    GL with whatever you plan to do

    True, I'll probably keep with the single arm, because I plan on getting one of his bed cages before the end of the year, so that'll offer plenty more mounting options also. I like the extra table space as stupid as it sounds lol

    I recently ordered my bumper with dual spindles so I can do the swingouts later on down the road. My reason for this is because I live inLos Angeles so space is pretty tight. When it comes to doing the swingouts I'm also thinking about a way to make em so I can somehow put extensions on the swingouts and be able to use a hammock back there. Plus I also think it looks kinda cool
