I'm in as long as I can get my tires balanced this week! Going over 45 has some nasty vibes

Nah all 4 need balancing. According to EZ beads I'm 2 oz short on each tire.

I would add 4 oz to each then. Better safe then sorry.

Yeah that's actually what I ordered haha. 6oz each tire currently.

Any downside to too much weight?

None. The beads will distribute themselves around the tire.

So...Rausch mud gets into everything. Had to run a drill bit through every hole in my drilled rotors....

They are awesome brakes though. One of my best upgrades.

Vented rotors with good pads goes a long way to upgrading brakes. as they dont have the dirt/mud issues that the slotted/drilled rotors have. Hawk makes some amazing brake pads, along with EBC

I've been thinking I need to get my tires balanced as well. For a while now (too long, won't specify :anonymous:) I have had this rumbly feeling as speed gets higher. Most pronounced in the 48mph-52mph range, but noticeable from about 45mph up and getting less so the higher I go above 60mph. No idea what vibes feel like though. My thing feels like I'm going over a washboard road or something. IDK. Been like that for some time and hasn't changed. I should probably have address it long ago...

Yeah I have EBC' slotted/dimpled. So they still offer the benefits of vented rotors, but without the drawbacks of being drilled.

    Ragnar had a great time.

He spent the rest of the week talking about it: between your rig, the jeeps doing everything wrong, and @Nimble9 getting stuck in firepit, he had some good stories.

I've never had issues with slotted rotors and dirt/mud. It does help clear water more quickly though, cold, wet breaks can be exciting when you hit the pedal and nothing happens because you've got too much water between the pad and rotor.
