    Speaking of guns...

Was thinking about getting a .22 for plinking.

But a conversion kit for an AR is cheaper than some .22's. Any downside to that you gun nuts? Of course that means I'd have to pick up an AR... but if its on sale, then theres no reason I shouldnt.

Although one of the build it yourself ones seems more fun.

Get a cheap .22 and build an AR, then you can plink away with your .22 while you are collecting build parts :hattip:

Question for you AR owners. Have any of you ever learn how to shoot outdoors for distance with Iron sights?

Better to ask what I have not done.
If you got a whole upper then its fine. If you just got the bolt carrier that converts it, then they are ok in the accuracy department. But since they have a larger diameter barrel then a 22lr they dont grab as well and your accuracy suffers due to that.

That being said. It nice to have two guns instead of 2 uppers. The uppers just keep growing lowers so its futile to resist

Get a rugger 10/22 break down and magpul furniture

I was the only one with
    Winch
    CB radio.
The ability to maintain forward movement throughout the trail without assistance.
I pulled everybody at least once.
The paperweight you refer too would have just slowed things down. I mean, you actually have to take the time to read the instructions printed on the thing. Some of you guys can't even spell.
Hook never once came off btw. Worked flawlessly, just as it has for the last 20+ years I've owned it.

Someone needs to get out and wheel instead of bolting blind spots to the sides and taking pics of shiny clean 2nd gens in the driveway. :D
