And thanks! The best compliment we ever got was yesterday on the trail entirely by accident. We didn't know what freq everyone was on so I was scanning GMRS on the Ham by hand. Found a channel that was broadcasting just in time to hear 'someone's catching up, pull over and let em by' and the two jeeps in front of us pulled over. As we drove by we heard 'nice rig, is that the recovery truck?' The other guy replied that the recovery truck is yellow.

Lisa looked at me, 'was that for us? Fuckin coolest thing ever.'

Our new claim to fame - being mistaken for Joe is pretty fuckin bad ass.

 

They mistook you for Joe Osuch's yellow chevy? Not a bad compliment! That truck is pretty cool!

 

You're one of the guys from Tucson right? Good meeting you guys.

What the! I want one of those beer glasses! Or maybe a pair! Even though I'm a first gen and can't buy their stuff!

 

Also thank you Kevin for reaching out over the ham and checking on us with that driveshaft I was the one who was talking to you during that.

 

Finally have time to catch up some.

First off, turn out was badass. Thanks to everyone that put this together!

Secondly, this was my first TW meet / event and had a great time! Everyone seemed real friendly, and was good to put a few faces to names.

Lastly, thanks to the rest of the guys that I ran the poker run with. Had never meet any of y'all before, but felt like I was hanging out with some long time friends. Had a blast with y'all, so thanks for the warm welcome to @Techoma @scott96929 and @DukesTaco

 

Looked like an awesome day! Definitely gotta try to make it out to the next one! How was the trail? Prerunner friendly or would I need to be calling in for an alley oop assist at every turn?

 

Bro, my 4cyl 2wd was the Baseline test for all my prerunner friends on the run. Ohh, SamGoingHam's truck made it. Mine will obviously make it then.
Yes, both runs were prerunner friendly.

 

Definitely gotta try to make it out next time with the Tucson crew!

 

You were right behind me, right? I was wondering if I was going to have to give you a tug when you had to stop right before the crest at that one stop, but you went right over from a dead stop no problem. Definitely a great trail for prerunners.

Wheeling, sexy toyotas, good people, good vibez, bacon, beer, BBQ, perfect weather, it was a damn good day! I enjoyed talkin with some of you I hadn't seen in so long and meeting new people. Lookin forward to more good times with good people that's forsure and always down on weekends for adventures or shootin

EPIC meet gentlemen! Glad I could meet quite a few of you new guys as well as some old friends, and I'm happy to hear everyone had a good time! @JTS2014TACO started with a small idea and it turned out to be a massive event We'll definitely get these meets running quarterly to keep the anticipation up and attendance high.
