Anyone have their tent mounted on a KB Voodoo bed rack? Pics would be nice if anyone has them.

Anyone else waiting on Tepui? Orders a grey ruggedized Kukenam sky in December and indications were for a mid-January arrival. Contacted Kyle yesterday and now due to "manufacturing issues beyond our control". Mid February is their best guess. I'm thinking March is more likely given Chinese New Year and then everything comes to a screeching stop during this time.:frusty:

Anyone have input on the Tepui Ayer sky? About to pull the trigger, just wondering if it's a good size for two people or is it like a phone booth inside that thing.

I'm about to pull the trigger on the same tent, and when I asked the response seemed to be that it had enough space to accommodate two people comfortably.

Does all your gear stay pretty dry under the RTT?

That's not my truck, but I'd have to imagine that the tent would act like a canopy.

I didn't realize you posted that I saw the truck and remembered it from the bed rack thread. Still loving my rack hopefully deciding on a tent as well I just don't see how everyone's gear is staying dry

Personally, I use the rack with the factory tonneau cover.

Anyone else use the weatherhood? I just put mine on and I'm excited to see what kind of difference it makes

I should be able to get most of my stuff in cases and what not but mostly just my recovery bag. I need to invest in some Pelican cases

I've got 4 or 5 of the Hardigg Footlockers (FT3317) and have been extremely happy with them. I don't use them much anymore so they're stacked in the corner but you can't go wrong with them in the elements.

That's what I need to do starting with some places within 2 hours from me (dallas) but after that I'll need to be able to sleep there since most of my trips will be on the weekend. Thanks for the responses!

The Ayer is a nice tent for two people and unless both people are very large, it will sleep two quite comfortably. If you need space for extra gear inside the tent with you then you might consider stepping up to the Kukenam. The Ayer won't have much room for extra stuff with two people inside.
