I've been off the forum for a bit and just happen to stumble back to read the news, sure glad you made it out of that okay. Lots of work into that rig but you'll do an even better job on round two. Looking forward to see how you approach the new build and welcome to accesscab canopy crew.

Hell yeah! I'm still getting used to having a stock truck again. I'm so used to being able to just romp all over the place and through anything at full speed but stock suspension doesn't soak things up like the last setup :annoyed:

Only a few more hours to vote! I can use all the help I can get! Click the link posted above if you think the truck is worthy of the title!

Just saw the word about your build! Really sucks to see that happened but glad you're okay. That build was a huge inspiration to me with my own build and was easily one of my favorites on TW! Looking forward to seeing what you do with your new truck!

Yeah. I'm just going to reuse what I have for now till it's time to cut out the IFS. Just want to get it operational to hit the trails again. Time is my main constraint right now. I definitely miss driving around with the old truck and just rolling over everything in my way. Can't do much of that in stock form.

I knew I've seen this truck before. Saw it a long time ago on the freeway near Camarillo. Huge inspiration. A few years after that I got my own, I hope one day it can look like this.

Just finished reading the whole thing, sad to hear that the truck that pushed me into buying my dads Tacoma is now ruined. Best Tacoma I've ever seen, will never forget staring at it in person a few years back.

This is also the truck that lit the fire in me to have a TDS ready truck this year. I got tired of riding shotgun in it instead of having my own rig.

Too bad he won't be there again now that I'm ready.

And here I was thinking that I would be happy with just a functional AC, heater, and a straight driveshaft.

Damn I loved that first build but I'm psyched to see what you do with this new one! I'm from Sacramento but I head down to SoCal once in a while. If you've still got the sport hood when I'm there next I'm down to trade ya. Its pyrite of course.

This site did not have much to do with the activity in my wallet, other than a few group buys for items I would have bought anyways, seeing as how there are not too many non-tacoma builds on here. It is mostly a Pirate build.

I have a feeling that you stand a good chance of getting that Sport hood off of him. Just do not let it linger too long.

Hey I apologize for the ignorance but Ori struts can be used just like normal coil overs? Or are special mounts or uppers needed?
