Not really, but the cab gets pretty loud, particularly at higher speeds. Would it be pretty obvious if they weren't taken care of properly?

 

My stock gears howl.

 

They dont have it in 1/8" and 1/4" seems like it'll be too thick. Not sold on acrylic or lexan. So I'll be working up here today.

I really dont want to paint. But should.

 

you might hear howling if they were bad but if you baby it for 500 miles and flush with no problems then you should be good

Common turd gen problem. No worries, the diff will explode sooner or later.

 

I'd stick with dino oil for the diffs, especially after being regeared. I run Lucas in my diffs. Local Napa carries it.

Stop sticking all your parts out in the wind. That may cut down on the noise. Probably less indecent exposure tickets too.

anyone has any suggestions where to drive in some snow to have some fun in front range colorado area/loveland/boulder/lyons/longmont, tried few trails i knew all closed due to deep snow, but want to dig in bit and mess around, anyone know anything thats open?
