Yup, I did a pair of 200mm headlights for under $100. I had some used Denso ballast/igniters already but wanted to see if it could be done.

I'm sure you can get used parts and do it yourself for cheaper, but I'm just not interested in cutting open my housings to fit $135 low beams (the cheapest I saw on retrofitsource where the Acme Bi-Xenon H1 standards - the same people who supply Wile-E-Coyote his explosives, lol).

I've tried snooping around the retrofit source website several times, but their site is clunky and slow (even resorted to using internet explorer, lol). Once the website did eventually load, I entered several variations of what I'd want for lights on their complete retrofit kit buyers guide, and got "there are no products in this category" every time. So either the website sucks or nothing would fit my truck, which would be weird, wouldn't it?

Look, I'm sure you can do an HID system for relatively cheap (~$200-$500) but, in order to match the price I paid for CAPA certified factory quality parts, you basically have to find used parts and tear open and cut up your housings yourself, or buy the cheapest system available. If I wanted the cheapest available, I'd stick with ebay housings and $10 autozone halogen bulbs.

Look, I'm not hating on HID. HID is great, and I'm jealous of my wife's HIDs on our newer car, but I'm just not willing to spend what it would take to convert my 13 year old truck over to them (and do it using high quality parts).
