Hey guys I have recently bought a new 2015 Toyota Tacoma 6 speed TRD pro. I am looking to put on bigger off road tires. A buddy of mine recommended Nitto tires but I have no idea if they are good or not. I am looking for advice on what size tire to get as well as the rim size and lift sized that is needed. I do not have any knowledge on lifting a truck because I just switched over to the truck world.

    Hello  Welcome to TW.
Your questions have been answered many times, I'd start by reading through these threads to learn a bit more about what you're looking for. This will help you make an educated decision on lift options and wheel and tire options.

There's a lot of ways to lift your truck!
But all depends on your budget. How much were you looking to spend for everything ?(wheels and lift)
And how much lift would you like ?

I was looking to spend around 3,000 in total. I dont want to go the cheap route either I rather get it done the right way the first time. I wanna give the truck some height and make it look a little tougher. I don't do deep off-roading.

For $3000 you can get 6112 bilsteins. Fox king icon coilovers non resi and not ext travel so you don't have to get upper control arms. Give you about 2-2.5 in lift in front. An add a leaf in the rear to give you 1.5-2in lift in the rear and you can throw on some nice rims with a 285 tires
For tires I would recommend a bfg ko2 great tire on and off road
And for rims just make sure sure they're the correct back spacing

Really consider what you're going to do with the truck. I spent the money on the nice icon set up.... definitely didn't need it! But for a frequent wheeler I could see the value in it!!

I am looking at Nitto Trail 33x12.50 I was looking at a tuff country lift or a BDS lift. I went to a shop by my house to talk to them and they recommended a 6 inch BDS lift kit any suggestions, I only go on the beach with my truck

Drop bracket lifts destroy you frame cross member. That is a turnoff for many. Although not as many as I would expect. I would go with a pair of quality adjustable coilovers, and a new leaf pack in the rear. There are several good manufacturers out there.

If you are 2wd, Maxtrac makes nice spindles good for 4" of lift and retention of stock geometry.
