i just got my 2010 taco, a week ago, and the dealer did not do the tsb before i took delivery, and refused to do it without a complaint, but i found another dealer not too far away that will do it, and has already ordered the parts, should i still do the tsb? i didnt have it on my 2006... and i dont know what to expect...

    opinions please?

    thanks to all

If you need it, then get it. If you don't feel like you really need it, then don't get it. :)

I occasionally haul heavy loads, so I went ahead and had it done.

derek, i do haul stuff here and there and do think the increased load capacity (thanks jdkeller) would help, i hauled 460 pounds of aluminum last year and i was riding on the bumpstops all the way to the junkyard...

I say do it since its free cant complain with that and if you dont like it you can take it out easy as 1 2 3. Toyota dealerships tend to lie and not help people with the whole tsb thing but if there gonna do for you I say go for it.

It's a free upgrade, what's the downside? I also think it made the truck ride better.

Do it, it's free, might not need it right now, but you will down the road.
The ride feels more firm, more truck like. I have even noticed that I don't peel out as much, Got a lead foot you know!!:D

you should have put the dealer on the spot. i would have refused to buy it or take delivery until the dealer installed the tsb. that's what pisses me off the most about these dealers. they come out there and bug the shit outta of you to buy their vehicles, that as soon as you drive off the lot, they wash their hands of you and the vehicle. i've had to get down right ugly before with some service people in the past about getting warrenty service done on some past cars i've owned. i will have to say that my local Toyota dealership has been good, but then again, i've haven't had to have any major service done to my truck.
