    I did it because I really no pun intended could not clearly hear the OEM system I had the very base stereo still have it and the speakers if some wants to put their 2nd gen back to stock for trade in . Anyhow I listen to a very wide variety of music and books / talk radio . If I had the windows down at highway speeds I could not hear it maxed out. There was no connection but the 1/8 audio jack to the OEM and it did not amplify the audio from the ipod so you had to set the ipod volume as loud as it would go which kills the battery on it. With only one accessory outlet ( at the time :}) it was a dance for keeping cell and ipod charged on the road along with the TOM TOM GPS . I asked Toyota about the interface they sold and it was 300 bucks offered direct connection to the OEM but still didn't offer charging.. So I had the amps ..I wanted blu tooth and built in gps and dvd for the road trips to Maine for the kids...I did not hook the back up camera to it I have a camera to install on the back of the camper so I can turn it on when driving down the road to see who is tailgating me :} Well there you have it :}

    It rocks the truck enough :} to rattle the windows if they are only slightly down. It was pretty pricey as that head unit was new on the market then it alone was almost 1k . Whole thing installed with me building the amp racks and surgery on the cubbys was $2800 .

    Howdy all. It was a crazy night. The wind started to pick up around the afternoon and was howling by nighttime. Then the rain kicked in and I had to secure the furniture and windows. Around 9 a transformer blew somewhere in the neighborhood. All I saw was green light outside the porch, but we didn't lose power. Shortly afterward the cable went out and took phone and Internet with it. Watched a few things on DVR then went to bed early. Around 11 we could hear the power company chain sawing some trees and repairing lines. Cable and phone were back this morning, but the Internet wasn't working. Stupid modem went into bridge mode.
    Called Spectrum on the way into work, convinced the idiots that I know what the problem was, they said they would fix it. They called back an hour later, said the modem would only work if they turned on wifi (extra $ per month) or they would send a tech to replace it. Told them to schedule the tech.
    Called back, got a different tech. He reprogrammed the modem, got it back to normal mode, shut off wifi. Everything came back ok.
    I may have to go back to Verizon. Spectrum is close to useless repairing their own equipment.

    At an account and it starts to pour outside. I hear a fast dripping noise and see water coming out of an electrical junction box going to the water shut off sensor. Customer looked at it and shrugged his shoulders. Great.

    Will do. Dry this morning and not too bad last night. Just a whole bunch of wind and sideways rain. Glad I put windows in the porch last year.

    She's a good Dog!!! I just finished washing mine! Lol! It's been a good day, left the dentist and stopped by my favorite surf shop and looked at some used paddle boards. Still haven't found one that I like. Then came back to the house and washed both vehicles and helping with laundry :washing:Thinking about ordering some pizza soon! Hope you all are safe and getting through another Day!
