Austin isn't the hippie city it once was. It was a blast in the late 70's and early 80's.

Yeah the hippies moved on now it is full of homeless people and Hillary supporters. Don't get me wrong there are some good folks in Austin and several of them are here on TW but there are definitely some there that are a little out there. For those of you who have never been to Texas don't judge it by what you hear about Austin.

    As per the article:

"The TAWA Truck Rodeo, sponsored by Steel Market Development Institute (SMDI), was held in the scenic Texas Hill Country as vehicles were tested both on and off-road. TAWA members evaluated the off-road vehicles while climbing rocks, crossing creeks and dodging exotic wildlife."

    WTF???!!!!

Did they throw baboons in front of the moving trucks? ... or just dumb-ass TAWA judges.

OMG that is my life in the Bay Area. Had a woman come up my drive way to try and inform me about Smart Meters. I pulled out my cell phone to make a point about RF's and she acted like it was a gun and started yelling that I was going to infect her, and telling me to do research, fawking qwaks dude.

I drove down to Austin for the MotoGP last year, plan on doing it again this year. I really liked what I saw exceot the wacky assed toll deal. I stopped to pay the first few times but no one there, they ended up sending me a ticket to pay. If ever my job here in Nm goes south I am planning on looking out in Austin area.
