I imagine so, they got so much snow this weekend it was nuts.

I have to say, I know some people knock 'em in the snow but my experience with my KO2s in the snow was fantastic, we didn't get stuck once and there were plenty of other guys in 4x4's (mostly with street tires and chains though) that were stuck and waiting on tow trucks.

 

I can only imagine. It was pouring all day in LA. I wish I had been up there this weekend for some powder

Any of you guys got experience changing lower ball joints i think that may be my new problem unfortunately.

Got mine done through Toyota but it was under warranty, they wanted $800 or so otherwise if I remember right.

 

I'm gonna check them tomorrow when it warms up and stops fuckin raining.. did you check yours?

800 Is crazy fuck its only 100 in parts lol

 

They were leaking grease from the boots pretty bad, but they weren't bad enough that they were causing any slop when I did the test (lift the tire up using a bottle jack under the LCA and check for play in the joint). If there's significant play then they are most likely on their way out. I was having popping issues when turning and that combined with leaking grease (and the fact that they were covered under warranty) I just had them replaced at the dealer.

 

hmm i am getting some weird squeaky clunking shit coming from down there when i hit bumps..

 

Well they're pretty easy to test if you jack up the tire by the LCA so I'd start there. Getting them switched out didn't fix my clunking, but it eventually went away on it's own lol. Probably the sway bar for me.

 

@SlipperyTaco did this clunking start after you reinstalled your front end suspension last weekend?

Does anyone that is running 17s want a set of KOs? I'm selling a set that I bought to run on my truck but went 16s. I'll sell them for the same price I got them
