cold air intake??

    anyone out there install a cold air intake on their toy? Are they worth it, got one for my Cherokee, thought it gave me better pick-up, just to read in a mag that they really don't give you any benefit!! What have you folks found.... I gotta know. thanks

    The v-6 loses power because of them and I think there's a post that they don't do much for us 4 bangers either. Id definetly spend my money else where. You want to breathe better the popular thing to do for 4 cylinders is put in an afe pro dry s air filter and remove the secondary air filter. There's a diy in the mods section for how to do this, very easy and people like it

    Haha just realized that lol. Still have your money get another air filter and do the deck plate mod.

    I have run a K&N FIPK since I got my '02 new. 120,000 miles and the K&N has paid for it's self vs throw away filters. When I sell my rig, I will replace the stock unit and sell the kit and get some cash back.
    It's a lot louder, which is a negative.

    Broken Exhaust right after the cat... So its an exhaust manifold and cat, really really LOUD!!!
    can someone help me find this "deckplate mod" for my 1st gen 2.4?
