What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

What snow? I haven't seen snow in almost a month.... We usually have a ft. or more of snow on the ground this time of year.

 

I have no snow here either. Global warming hitting hard

 

Yeah we've barely had snow, and mostly it has been dustings that go away in a day. Of course they still lay brine
Also, the other day it was 58°F, which is absurdly warm for January. This is usually single and low double digit weather with the occasional warmer or colder day. But since that day, it's been 30s and 40s mostly. Hell, I've seen a tree starting to bud already.

 

We've got more snow this year than any of the other 5 years I've lived here.

we havent had a winter in 5 years now. I mean this is a place where the bay used to freeze so thick you could literally take trucks/cars out on the ice and drive to the cabin and out around the islands. That same bay this year is still open water. even now theres rain in the forcast...

 

Wow that's so starkly different. Not right in the slightest. 5 years is a long time. I can see one year that's outstandingly warm but 5 can't be overlooked. It does make you wonder what other, more worrisome changes are on their way.

 

Best Utah winter I have seen in a long time.

 

We had a couple years with really mild winters, and then this year it's just been one stop.

No joke.

After today I would give some of it back to you.

Side note: tested how strong my bumper realllly is. (Rolling eyes face)....

Relocated turn signals into corner lamp housings. Did 10k ohm 1/4 watt resistor mod to EGR temp sensor. ( check engine light still off several hundred miles later.) Got a new HU and installed.

 

Is that the sony mex-xb100bt ? I love that radio!

 

I think the box says MEXN-5100BT. It has a remote, AUX input, Bluetooth, and Satellite radio. 100$ at pepboys. Remote and BT was all I really cared about.
