exstensions for sockets as you'll need a 1/2" one to do the bottom bolt for the strutt. Some good metric wrenches. If your doing an aal in the rear then a couple of c-clamps.

Good call out, I have been meaning to pick up a good set of box/open wrenches so now I have an excuse. No aal here, I opted for 1.5" blocks because I dont tow or haul anything more than a couple hundred pounds.

ok I couldn't remember what you had said you were putting in the rear. Hopefully you did get extended shocks for the rear. The brake ines are a good Idea but not entirely necessary so I would save them for last but soak with penetrating oil at the beginning. Idk about the fronts but the rear lines can be a royal pain in the ass to break loose.

I bought 5100's all the way around. The undercarriage looks pretty clean and rust free so I'm at as good of a starting point as I can get. The previous owner managed to slam just about every panel on the outside of the truck into something but underneath it looks good...lol

well that's a shame about the body panels. Maybe can work on that after the lift.

Hey, thanks for the help. I'm going to peace-out for the night. Fast n Loud should be far enough along by now that I can skip the commercials (behind Tacoma, DVR is my 2nd favorite toy).

Yes I will freely admit somebody did remind me of that when he did mine as I hadn't done 1 for like 20 years. I'm never too old to be reminded of things or learn new things. Lord knows I'm god's gift to nothing!

Lmao... So that was you! Funny thing is, the guy in front of you in the work van waved at me too. He had NC tags, so I was like, "Maybe he likes the OBX stuff." then you waved and I was like, "Wtf... people are either really friendly this morning, or something got put on the back of my truck." I kept thinking back to walking outside that morning and trying to remember if I noticed anything new on the back of the truck before I left.

Welcome nice trucks! I think I've seen your old one before I'm just north of you in Culpeper. I just came through Madison today. We haven't had a meet up yet the thread is still fairly new, however it's in the works. There are a couple other members on this thread with 3rd gen's like @GUN SLINGER who is also here in Culpeper

Welcome to the forum, it's never too early to start modding. I had parts ordered for my truck before I even signed the papers.

    A thing or two...
Didn't post it here, but I came home to a tree fallen on my truck on Monday evening. Got the truck to a body shop on Tuesday. Heard from the insurance company after work today, and the truck is repairable.
