I am thinking of swapping out my color matched fender flares for some new black Toyota flares from the base model.

Any idea where I can buy these reasonably priced?

Anybody have pics after doing this swap?

    Thanks.

You may be able to find somebody with a white taco and black flares that would want to trade you. Just a thought...

Mine are a bit beat up from gravel flying off the tires after a zillion miles on gravel roads, so nobody would want to trade.

The dealer wants about $220 for the front flares and $420 for the rear. Not worth doing at that price. I thought I heard they were available someplace online for about $150 each.

Also, changing the front bumper to black, how easy is that?

If your current ones are that beat up, why not paint them with Spray on bed liner, or any other color that you would like.

    Just a thought.

Edit to add: was looking at your fuelly and noticed your mileage, Any major issues or repairs so far? Is it still running strong?

Thanks for the idea. I want them to match the black grill, mirors, door handles, etc.

Yes, this truck runs like new, 225,050 miles today. 19.1 MPG on the last tank. Only major repair was a short in fuze block at 150k miles that required the fuze block to be replaced.

Wow, I looked at yours and was surprised how different the price per gallon is as compared to mine. Yikes!

Yeah, it's crazy here, and the refineries are just up the road about 30 miles. Those prices are for supreme, regular is about 22 cents cheaper on average. I usually fill up at a shell, chevron, or 76. I will be done with my 91 octane experiment in June. I have been running it for 8 months, and plan to run 87 for the next year unless I notice pinging going up some of the grades around here.

Back on topic : Check out the other duplicolor flat blacks, there has to be something that matches good, and you would be the only one to know if they were different.

I'm selling my OEM black fender flares. They came off my 2008 Double Cab TRD Sport Tacoma. They have light scratches but no major dents. I'm asking $300.00 for them not including shipping. IMG_6587.jpg

They are painted the original color of my truck which is black - I believe the color is called "Black Sand Pearl".

I just bought flares off ebay for $279. Rjd or rdj? There aren't many reviews on them, but for the price it was worth a shot for me.
    Edit:
    Not oem, sorry to impede

Fit is ok. They don't fit on the same line as the OEM flares, but the look pretty good.
