I'm doing a limited first run GB. I'm looking at offering two or three "entry" level suspension kits, recovery gear, WT floor mats, maybe a couple small things as well. I was looking at one vendors pricing on winches, might be able to swing a deal or two. Likely synthetic line which is what most people seem to want nowadays.

    Yes, thanks.

This is what I am looking at. My bumper is getting closer to being done and I have included room for a winch.

    https://www.amazon.com/Warn-87800-M8000-s-Winch-Synthetic/dp/B00625F8RW
And to continue in the spirit of AZBS I would also be on for a wench GB.

They come around. You can get discounts for being a forum member.

That was the cheapest I found my model. Even cheaper than the forums discount. . many have tents that are in the 2k to 2500 range.

I will likely include Smittybilt RTTs in this GB. They're some of the cheapest tents on the market without GB pricing. It won't be anything like the 40% off that I got from Geo Adventure Gear, but it's something.

I found some manufacturers that have them as cheap as $500+shipping... but I can't imagine they are the same quality.

I dealt with the manufacturer that makes Spirit and Tepui, the markup in nuts. The logistics of getting them from China is the part that will kill the deal.

To me customer service and likelihood of being around in say 5 years was important to me.... Cvt tepui and arb seem to be pretty well matched with many similar models... However I bought tepui because cvt to me was like talking to a dry piece of bread. I called each of them explained what I was trying to do. What I was using it for and asked them about models that I found myself interested in. The cvt person gave me one and two word answers. Where as the tepui person talked. And told me what other customers had to say and liked and disliked..... The feeling of comfort much exceeded the others. So I paid the price and ordered something I am hoping will be great. In the garage it was pretty cool ... We will see if its 1600 bucks cool in say 3 months. 6 months. A year. 2 years. Its just a waiting game now...

I'd likely do a Warn and Smittybilt if I do two winches in my GB. May consult with a few of you privately for more details of what you're in the market for.
