    *New here*
So i bought my 08 taco TRD SPRT DCLB a few months ago and i love it to death...only problem is that im trying to find more places to go offroading but im 2WD.
Ive done some simple simple trails (holy jim) (main divide) and havent had any problems but it seems like if i ask about anywhere else its just "you cant go there your 2WD" so im wondering where can i go out an have fun?? Ive never been desert running but i want to try it (going to KOH) and i know people go to ocotillo wells but im not sure how i would do (2WD), if i would even be able to do anything out there and what kind of terrain it is (packed dirt or sand?)

Ocotillo has a lot of variation in ground. Much of what I saw was fairly packed sand and very easy for a 2wd to take on. A few of the slower more "crawly" parts were made easier by 4wd but definitely doable without.

What areas were you thinking of? Johnson Valley (where they hold King of the Hammers) has some rough ass 4wd rock crawling.
