    Used Photoshop for everything, animated GIFs are pretty easy, I shoot rapid shutter in manual mode so the color and focus is the same, import each frame as a layer, do the color corrections in adjustment layers so they apply to everything, and then turn it into a GIF. You could do it with a video too if the quality is good enough. The composite pic is a bit more work, I use layer masking and a soft brush to hide everything but the truck on every layer except one.
