Subwoofer Box Help

Currently I have a 12" JL audio slot ported "bass wedge" and it takes up a lot of room in the back seat of my 2007 Double Cab. I am looking to find a box that will fit behind the rear seats for a 12" sub.

That won't fit behind the seat because there is a beam that runs horizontally across the back wall so there needs to be a channel cut out of the back of the box to go around it. Google Tacoma sub box and you will see what I mean. There are boxes available.

 

check out Amazon. They make boxes that will fit behind your seat. Or you could have one made... or make one yourself...

Yes. There is a write up on how to do it. I think the motor comes out of a Honda pilot or something.

I had the wire and connectors on hand, I don't think it took more then about $115.00 to purchase everything and get it operational.

Should still work if you can find the parts. I can't find the honda motor one, I know it's on here somewhere.

 

I will try to find it. I feel like i found this write up a while back, i just like the other one better. Looks more out of sight.

 

supercrewsound.com makes a single box for behind the rear driver's seat. I have that with a 10" kicker. Awesome box and reasonably priced.
